Lie- Once Saved, Always Saved
Truth
God's word is clear, God will never abandon or forsake those who belong to Him. His word is also clear, that we can come to know and belong to Him, and later by our own will, reject Him and walk away from Him. We can choose to abandon or forsake God. We can choose to turn away from the light and walk in darkness once again. This is not God removing His Spirit from us, but us evicting His Spirit from within us.
Summary
God doesn't abandon His adopted children, but His adopted children can later chose to disown God and they will no longer belong to Him through their own rejection of God (once saved, but no longer saved).
